Beautiful place. Very special atmosphere. Good food, good massage. Fish market on the beach is something must see.

We stayed at the best place in Kizimkazi village! Yasmin was amazing – she took care of everything for us, from organizing tours to making sure we didn’t miss the whales. It’s definitely worth asking her about anything you need. The house is cozy and pampering. In the mornings, we ordered delicious breakfast from Yasmin’s restaurant. We felt completely safe – there’s a guard on-site 24/7. The house is surrounded by forest, and the moment you enter the path leading to it, it feels like stepping into a fairytale. No doubt we’ll be coming back at the end of our trip. Thanks to the whole team – and big thanks to Mama Yasmin!

I seriously loved everything about this place. The owner and staff are so sweet. The atmosphere is nice, loving and peaceful. I found it to be a simple, beautiful and inspirering place. And the garden and pool area invites you to relax and feel at home. On top of that, just 2 min. walk, you have one of the most secluded beaches I have found on this Island, with rocks, local atmosphere, good snorkeling and beautiful sunset views. I recommend to stay at least 5 days here - to really unwind and let that Polle-Polle feeling settle into every cell of your body. This is one of the hard-to-find-gems on the Island. It is a very nice place directly by the ocean. You have breakfast, which is very good and varied, with a view of the sea at low tide with the mussel and crab gatherers walking around. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. The host family is extremely nice and welcoming. In the evening you can watch the sunset and listen to the waves. You can either have dinner at the hotel (both Omi and his wife are chefs) or find a restaurant close by. The beach for swimming is just a short walk away.

I orderd on night and stayed the all week. It felt like home immediately, the room was clean and cozy. I work from my computer and i got a really nice corner to work without interaptions or just relexing on the swing whenever i needed a brake with a good tropical juce. The sea in this area is super clear and amazingly beutiful! For sure i recomend to ask for the sup and go paddle. If you are lucky you will see the dolphins! Its possible to take a boat to see the dolphins but with the sup it is so much more natural without the noissy boats and i belive the dolphins also feel safer like that... For me this place was perfect and if i have the chance i will come back for sure! Thenk you so much!

Being above the sea in this stunning tree-house-like bungalow is fantastic! The view on the rocks, the sea, the changing tide is fascinating. There are monkeys sitting on the roof and the wind blows fresh air into the bedroom with seaview. Behind the bungalow there is a direct staircase to the beach where you can swim if the tide is high. The restaurant serves good food and staff is very helpful and welcoming. An amazing place to stay, discover nature and feel adventurous!

The hotel is run by an Italian family. Paola has created a piece of Europe in the middle of the exotic African jungle. We found European standards of quality and comfort and the warmth of Italian hospitality. Beautiful surroundings, small cozy houses nestled among blooming African trees, bushes, and flowers. The hotel is close to the main road, which is very convenient for traveling, yet we had a sense of complete privacy and seclusion. The hotel isn’t located directly on the beach, but it’s only a five-minute walk away. Within the hotel grounds, there are even two big swimming pools, with a nicely arranged relaxation area, so you can enjoy the sun and water without leaving the property. We stayed in a very comfortable, spacious house with air conditioning. There were some water and spices for cooking waiting for us upon arrival. The continental breakfast was great. The best experience, however, was Paola - the very special hostess of the place. She personally handled every single issue, answered all our questions, and gave us the most valuable advice on restaurants and services in nearby towns. She also shared her favorite places in Stone Town, which we gladly visited and truly appreciated. All the staff members were very helpful, offering advice on getting around and making the most of our stay. The hotel is in a great location. You can easily walk to Paje along the beach. There’s a large sandbank with very easy access, just a short distance from the hotel to the north - you simply can’t miss it. It’s an amazing place for all kinds of enjoyment. And just to the south, there’s the very special town of Jambiani - full of friendly people and interesting activities. A very genuine vibe of local life. At this hotel, we were able to unwind after a rather thrilling and exciting journey. It felt like European home with all the beauty and pleasures of Africa. The biggest thank you to Paola.

Very good location, few steps (maybe 50 m or even less) from the beach, with their own restaurant ( very nice and cosy) on the beach, where you can leave your things and go to the sea. The food is good, for breakfast a lot of different things. The outdoor space is decorated in very nice tropic style with a pool and lot of palm trees and with nice artistic details. The rooms are big and also very nice with a lot of natural light, great bed and very clean. The staff and the owner are very professional and helpful. I had a really terrible sea sickness one day and the owner responded immediately with some medicine and offered to take me to the doctor if I needed. Luckily the medicine helped. Also some restaurants and small stores just few steps from the lodge and you can go for a walk even in the evening. The village is quiet. Locals are very friendly and I felt totally safe despite the fact that I travelled solo. I would warmly recommend this beautiful place to everyone!
