Nice and spacious apartment with AC in the living room (if you leave all the doors closed but the bedroom one, the AC will cool it down as well). All the amenities needed (coffee machine, washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven, electric and gas cooker etc...). The lady was lovely, and the area was lovely and quiet with a beautiful view from the balcony. Very quick to respond to any of our questions, we even locked ourselves out at 9 pm, and they were at the place to unlock the door for us within 10min. Highly recommend 👌

The cottage is located just below the walls of Monsaraz village so very close, so ideal. There are quite a few cafes and restaurants in the village and especially Xarez was really good. It has everything you need and the owner allows dogs. It has a fantastic little terrace/balcony.

We enjoyed the beautiful view of Monsaraz and having the amazing surprise at 7am of the air balloons in flight. The house was immaculate and we had the place all for ourselves. Having access to the courtyard with a seating area and a hose was fabulous in the evening heat. (We had a hose bath👌🏼)

    Absolutely stunning property in the middle of a fairytale medieval village. Our two bedroom apartment has everything we needed including the incredible terrace with view of the amazing countryside and sunsets. Probably the best location in the town to view the sunset !     Very old building with a lot of charm. Each room seemed to be decorated differently; mine was an Asian inspired with dragon lamps and an awesome dresser with the painted dragon. Located in a very quaint little village perfect for watching sunset in the evening while listening to the cows’ bells, star gazing at night in complete quietness, and greeting the sun in the morning.

    Victoria was a wonderfully generous host. Because we were cycling she drove to local restaurants on both nights we were there. There is lovely pool and garden. The room was spacious and charming with a great view of the castle and village

    Quaint villa with enough room to sleep the 3 of us just a short walk outside the castle walls. Loved the ease of parking just outside the villa. The host was very helpful and friendly during our check-in. Beautiful views of the lake and city all around. The terrace was the highlight and we were able to see the stars wonderfully across this dark sky area. The villa was very clean and well appointed.

    Perched high on the mountain of Monsaraz the views are amazing. The old stone building has been tastefully decorated. Clean comfortable &. very unique. Visit the terrace on the roof for sunset. A delicious breakfast is served downstairs hosted by a lovely local lady. There are a couple of good restaurants close by, try Sahida. it’s excellent. You can drive up to the front door to unload. Lots of parking at the entrance of the village.

    We loved staying here at Casa Pinto. It was such a treat to be in this amazing old village in such a beautiful room. The rooftop balcony was amazing!!! Breakfast was also great and we had lots of choices of what to eat.

    The people who run the property- Susana and Mara- they went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience. The breakfasts were the best we had in our 10 day tour of the Alentejo. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Well situated for the village of Monsaraz and the Lake. In the village where the property was situated there was a really good restaurant just next door.
