This place really was one of the highlights of our trip through Panama! It was one of those hotels where you could feel people are doing it with their heart and truly care about making their guests an amazing time. The owner greets you personally, he was always there if we needed something, brought us fresh coconuts from the tree and tropical fruit to try. The staff was super friendly and quick. The food was very good, we loved the breakfast and dinners we had. You also have local coffee and tea in the room which is such a nice gesture. We also got lunches to go for our day trips, in a cooler with ice. The view is also great and we saw so many monkeys and birds and iguanas. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. The hosts make you feel so at home and Brad was so helpful with our travel arrangements. Breakfast was great and howler monkeys put on quite a show. The pool, views and atmosphere were just perfect

Very friendly owner and stuff, very spacios, birds and monkeys in the trees in the backyard, close to the ocean. The owner arranged a trip for us and the captain took us directly from the resort. They also put in our room a crib for the baby and was very good.

The house is located on a truly beautiful spot, yet it seems very untouched by mass tourism. It was super quiet, we could hear the birds and the monkeys instead of people or traffic. The house was very beautiful and comfortable. There were many great sightseeing places to explore nearby.

Casa Tanamera in Boca Chica was the best place we stayed at during our 5 week tour of Panama - in fact it's one of the best self-catering accommodation we have come across in our 20 years of overseas travel!! Our hosts were absolutely wonderful people - incredibly friendly, responsive and went out of their way to ensure we had the most memorable stay. Casa Tanamera is a special place - tastefully decorated by the owners reflecting style and emphasizing comfort. Every detail has been considered - beautifully fragranced, thoughtful bathroom amenities, fully equipped gourmet kitchen - truly a home away from home. Private pool and lovely patio, comfortable beds and superb linen, enormous shower with views of the ocean - we'll definitely stay here again (for a longer period, as it truly is a fantastic spot!!). It was truly a wonderful stay. The island is the best place on earth to recharge and disconnect, everything is beautiful (the nature itself but the design of the hotel as well!) and I have never seen such a caring and professional staff. The food is incredible too (fresh, high quality and creative - we are French and Italien so have a bit of high standards in this respect) and they are always happy to make adjustments to comply with your dietary restrictions. Thanks again to the team who made our stay an amazing experience.
