Villa 42 is, in short a hidden gem. For anyone looking for comfort, privacy and wonderful hospitality they won't get any better than this lovely villa just half a mile or so from gorgeous (mostly empty) beaches and several decent restaurants (ask Siri for recommendations). Siri will provide his pampered guests with the best of breakfasts adapting tp personal taste (Sri Lankan style or to more western taste). Siri's well maintained swimming pool will be your refreshing reward after a few hours of Sri Lankan heat.

Wow! what an incredible nice family who runs the place! we felt so welcomed here :) the room was spotless clean and very spacious & bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and tasty most foods had it. we loved to relax on the outdoor balcony and here the birds singing, overlooking a very calm neighborhood. we also absolutely loved the short walk to the beach, we met many sweet locals on the way, there are restaurants and a long beach - and there is a corner shop which provides everything you’ll need :) the wifi was the fastet and best we had so far! it’s a 10/10 - highly recommend to stay here! thank you so much Ramesh and his family for everything! We will come back again that place to stay longtime.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

Outstanding place Excellent breakfast Kind hosting family. Very kind morning waiter. Excellent English speakers...an opportunity to chat about lot of subjects. They really care for your comfort. Every amenity has a special touch , from flowers to napkins. Provided also assistance for shopping, dinner, trips and airport transfer. Everything was perfect! The property was spotlessly clean and the food was amazing. Amazing pool and located right on an awesome beach. We almost had the beach to ourselves. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We chose the bed and breakfast option which was great and we loved the idea that we were able to choose a different breakfast each morning from the menu which wasn't a buffet. We ate at the property every night but one. The seafood platter with lobster was incredible! Everything was very well priced. Would totally recommend a visit.
