Rooms were spacious and nicely painted (but cluttered with fancy old crap, dusted, stained or broken). 3. AC was really good quality (not smelly like in other places), but you have to ask for it. 4. The man running the place lives somewhere in that villa, so comes quickly. He reacts to phone calls (WhatsApp rather not or slow with a typical Italian delay) if you need anything. 5. The owner Silvia was amazing and so helpful. She ensured we had everything we needed and booked our taxis to the airport. The rooms have excellent air conditioning. They are beautifully stylish and very clean and comfortable. We had a difficult time as my mum had broken her leg but arriving here and having Silvia contact me directly with clear instructions was such a relief. It’s a charming, old-fashioned family home, like stepping back in time 100 years but with modern conveniences - really atmospheric. It has a great location, lovely garden, but the best thing is the host, Roberto - a genuinely lovely man who makes you feel incredibly welcome. He says he’ll make you the best breakfast and it’s true - he does! He also makes the best coffee we had in Italy. Trust Roberto’s restaurant recommendations - he knows what he’s talking about.
