Christina made us very welcome. Very beautiful place - quiet and tranquil with a stunning view of Etna. For supper, she made antipasti and pasta for us.followed by breakfast with amongst other things, homemade biscuits. All very nice. She surprised us in the morning with a birthday treat with a candle, which was delicious. She had noticed from one of our passports! Such a special touch! A fantastic location and a gracious host - who needs more? Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful property, I wish I could have stayed longer. Tastefully decorated to keep an old style feel. Food was amazing, so yummy. We even got to see a lava flow from our bedroom deck after dinner. Just make sure you follow the directions given to you by the owner not google maps 😆

L'Uliveto is such a lovely family run Bed & Breakfast. Although we didn't share a common language, it was a pleasure communicating with Cherubina and her husband, both very friendly and welcoming. We had the most amazing food, the bed was very comfortable, the swimming pool was lovely and the property and views stunning. What more could you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday stay? Enjoyed our stay in this well furnished, comfortable and clean B&B. It is on one of the main streets in the old town but our room was very quiet. The weather was against us but has a lovely view across the valley. Guiseppe our host was very friendly and helpful - also flexible with arrival and departure times. Coffee and basic breakfast provided.

Troina clings to a hill, and certainly gives you a gentle workout as you wander about this beautiful town. B and B Al Borgo is right in the middle, with a newsagent, tobacconist, cafes, bars, mini super markets and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Our check in was great - technologically the owner could let us in and give us directions to our room, despite us being early, and not present This was great! The house is historic, traditionally decorated, and laid out, with lots of interesting artefacts representing the agricultural and roman heritage of the town. The furniture is antique, with beautiful spotless bed linen. As well as a room and (external, but personal to us), bathroom, there was a lounge for guests, with fantastic coffee maker etc. the balcony was great. Our host was super, made sure we were comfortable, and gave us ideas about what to see and where to go.
