Friendly and communicative staff, room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. There were snacks and cold water in the room for us too. Great location near old town and bars / restaurants on sea front. We enjoyed the personal touches such as the games machine!

The owner, Daniella, is very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The rooms are very clean, smell nice and are brand new. It feels like a lot of love was put into this. We had an Italian-style breakfast every morning, especially the amazing chocolate croissants! We also found the chairs and table on the terrace convenient for evening relaxed minutes. The nearest sea is about 7 minutes on foot. Even if you don't have a car, you can still visit the area's 2 most popular beaches - Bombarde and Lazzaretto beaches by bus. We liked the second one the most. It takes 10-12 minutes to get to Alghero by bus, which is also very convenient. Overall a great place to stay. Everything was perfect. The hosts were very kind. They had a chat with us in Catalan and explained a little bit the history of Alghero. They offered us a coffee on arrival too and explained how everything worked. We had a very nice night at the guesthouse. Breakfast was ready to eat at any time as it was self-service. We regret not having booked more nights in here. If we go back to Alghero, we will definitely book with them again. The house is also close to all amenities and a 5 minutes drive to Alghero town, and they provide private parking on site. It was fantastic to stay in this beautiful house in the middle of the nature but also close to town. We will recommend our family and friend to stay here if they ever go to Alghero.

Good location, few minutes walking till city centre, with many restaurants, shops, etc. Michelin restaurant just acros the property. At the same time property outside of crazy busy area, what we liked. Proportional to this, search for parking quite nightmare. (However expected for the location). Accomodation stylish in retro design furnished. Nice big balcony.

    We couldn't have chosen a better accommodation, to be honest. Cleanliness is very important for me and my girlfriend when we go somewhere and Villa Solymar exceeded our expectations. Also, the furniture is brand new and the location is at the very quiet neighbourhood. Lovely Daniela served us delicious breakfast every morning and recommended to us places for visit. Chatting with her and her warm energy will definitely be missed. Recommendatiton from the bottom of our heart - 10/10. :)

    The location is beautiful, a little remote from the city/village which I think is a positive thing. Fantastic beach just a max 10 min walk from the location. Good with all facilities needed for cooking own food etc. Last but not the least, fantastic hostess which is very friendly and helpful.

    The villa was fantastic, offering plenty of space and good equipment. After initial misunderstandings, all communication with the owner was excellent. The sea and the pool are just a five-minute walk from the villa.
