Our hosts, Janine and John were wonderfully welcoming as were their 2 dogs who were full of fun and looking for a pat. Our cottage was perfect and very comfortable with everything we needed. Janine provided some extras too which was very thoughtful - fresh eggs from their ducks and chickens, home made jams, cereal, oats, milk and bread too. We had a very peaceful nights rest and awoke in our rural idyll with cattle at the gate and chickens at the door.

We had the most fun and amazing stay at Matty's Pub Apartments and would totally recommend staying there. You would never meet a more friendlier bunch of local folk or a more welcoming and laid back host. It was made quite clear from the start that meals were not part of the package but were available if required close by.Matty certainly made our time in Royaloak very special.

Lovely stay in a lovely location. Nothing was too much trouble. Great choice of breakfast to suit. My car broke down while there and they could not have been more helpful with suggestions and lifts, which was above and beyond.

Lovely apartment with everything you need to make it feel like home . Host very easy to contact and help with any questions. Stayed for 4 nights and used as a base to see most of Ireland . Lovely little town with nice pubs.
