Our stay at this accommodation was excellent. From the very first moment, Maura, the host, made us feel at home with her warm and friendly attitude. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and soundproof, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the island. The bathroom was very good, equipped with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was homemade, quite complete, and offered several options, the perfect way to start the day. The location of the accommodation is also ideal for getting around the island, and Maura provided us with very helpful and precise tips to make the most of our visit. Without a doubt, we will return.

All the rooms were en suite. The lounge was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washing machine and tumble drier was really useful after our days out. The setting was beautiful.

The true spirit of B&B. Very nice hosts that greet you with a large smile. The room is nice and comfy. Nice to have a boiler , tea and biscuits at your disposal. Very quiet and nicely located to visit Achill island. The Irish Breakfeast is just great. Nice to be able to park easily in front of the house.

Marie is a lovely lady. She picked us up with her car at the bus stop, and she made us feel very welcome from the moment we met. The next morning, she cooked a delicious breakfast for us. When we left, she even offered us a ride back to the center. Everything was excellent 👌

    There was everything we needed at this property and it was very quiet and private. Carmel the hostess was very welcoming and sent us a couple of emails before our stay which was very thoughtful. As mentioned, on arrival, Bella the dog was the meet and greet. The property is about a 20 minute walk to both Keel and Dooagh, which is the location of the restaurants and pubs. Both villages are small and pretty.

    Amazing place. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, very cocooning with as amazing view!!! It is the best location to visit Archill island ! We also really appreciated the weleome box and the provisions in the fridge! We had the opportunity to have a lovely welcome from Jack who also provided some history regarding the the village. Thank you for your friendliness, for letting us enjoy your lovely place and wish you the very best!

    Nothing, I made a booking in October 2022 and turned up to find booking. Com had not sent the booking information to Sykes Holiday Cottages. So was left on the side of the road with nowhere to stay DO NOT USE BOOKING.COM TO BOOK THIS HOUSE AS THEY DO NOT PASS ON THE DETAILS TO THE PROPRTY OWNER
