We had a really lovely stay! The cabin is located on the premises right in the forest. Although it gets very dark by night it always felt safe and the family gave us flash lights. The cabin is spacious and equipped with everything you need and it was very clean and tidy. The family is amazing and they prepared varieties of typical breakfasts for us. You can see a lot of wildlife on the night tours and find sloths (or they find them for you). There are restaurants, shops and Termales nearby (car is recommended). 10/10 you should stay there at least 2 nights!!

Each day started with a nice breakfast, which included fruits, coffee, juice, salchichon and other items. Mr. Owens and his staff were very attentive to our needs. They were also very friendly. We were invited to Christmas dinner, and that was a wonderful experience. The property has a beautiful garden. The place where we stayed was fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. The Terraza B & B is a wonderful place to stay, and we highly recommend you consider visiting it. My husband and I are looking forward to returning there next summer.

The lovely photos don’t even do it justice. A lot of care has gone into these villas and gardens… it’s a really magical place. You feel surrounded my nature and the villa’s are beautifully done. Really comfortable, big beds and lovely bathrooms. The fans kept us cool at night even though the temp was high. Some reviews mention a problem with ants but we kept all food in the fridge and didn’t have a problem. Make sure you enter ‘Finca Chilanga’ into Waze/Google Maps in addition to the address provided on Booking . com - we just copied and pasted the address on our booking and ended up adventuring up a gnarly off road track that our brilliant 4wd only just about managed. Turned out we’d driven straight past it! Ooops. We only stayed for our final night in Costa Rica but could have definitely stayed longer. The pool was beautiful and refreshing too. And the hosts very friendly and helpful! Don’t hesitate to book!

Original accommodation, great location and beautiful surroundings. Friendly, helpful owner who offered lots of information on the local area. Next time I would stay longer and enjoy the pool!
