The host is so kind and helpful! When I checked in, I missed some important tips in email, but the host gave us detailed guides on phone so we could successfully check in. Although our rusty English made some troubles in communication, the host was very patient to help us. In addition, the scenery of the house is attractive and the location is convenient.

A small kitchen and small bedroom give more space for the living/dining room and the view from the balcony towards the Eiger is incredible! The apartment is located along a private road and has parking right outside, which is useful because it's a long walk uphill from the town, although there is a bus service. It's dark and quiet at night - good for stargazing! Grindelwald is a great place to stay in the summer, as there are a lot of activities which start in the town. There's enough equipment in the kitchen to cook simple meals (which is handy, since eating out is very expensive) although there's no microwave. The WiFi is good and the smart TV has Netflix etc which you could use for English viewing. The information from the management company before and during the stay was good.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to everything without having to walk through very hilly streets. No kitchen but we were able to borrow cups and fork from the receptionist. An electric kettle is available. Excellent value for the money overall. You have got to stay here during your Grindelwald holiday!

Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We have enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the trains after we returned in the evening. Rebecca was the perfect host, and she has provided everything we need during our stay. It was one of the best stays ever. Thank you, Rebecca 😊

    The holiday home is located in the middle of urban and city area, which is nice. It is one bus ride (5mins) away from city center. The outskirt of city centre offers jaw dropping view of Grindelwald, especially sunset and night skies. The place house itself is old and some part of it is dirty (spider webs etc) but overall cleanliness and tidy is within acceptable range. The house can easily sleep 12 guests, spacious common area, kitchen has everything we need and the host is super responsive. Would definitely recommend and come again.
