A cosy little place in the heart of Gjirokastër. We stayed just one night and we are very happy to find this place. It is not easy to travel with a dog in Albania but we felt t very welcomed from the host. The room was cute and comfortable. Favorite part was the balcony and the terrace. With a nice view from the old city. You could see the stars in our balcony. The breakfast was very big, it had everything inside. I am definitely coming back.

This villa is amazing! It’s next door to a few historic houses that have turned into musea. Actually this villa used to be a museum too but the owners decided to turn it into a place where you don’t only visit a historic house but you also get a chance to truly experience it! The rooms are big, bright and clean. Some of the furniture are from the 1800’s , it was very special to see it. There are old family photos on the wall too so the whole building has a rich history! It is also said that the prince of the Albanian kingdom in the 1800’s used to stay here. The location is perfect, it’s a 3 minute walk to the bazar in the old center and the villa is located on the middle of the hill. So not uphill or downhill but right in the middle! There is a garden full of turtles next door and the owner made amazing breakfast for us with products from her own organic garden. It was a truly special experience.

We only stayed there for one night but our hosts were really helpful and friendly. Such lovely people. We had an amazing breakfast in the garden made from local products. It was delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable. The air-conditioning working very well. Nothing to complain

Everything was great about Muko's apartment. Let's start with the location, it's perfect. Across the street you have 3 banks you can draw money from and an exchange. There are a two supermarkets one underneath the apartment and another one beside it. It's very close to a bus station where you can take a bus back to Tirana or Sarande. Also, there is a taxi service close to the apartment. The taxi would charge you 500 Lek to get to the old part of the town where the Bazaar is. Moreover, you have a fast food store right at the corner of the street. Let's talk about the apartment itself. It was super clean, you have everything you can possibly need in it. From washing machine to detergents, slippers, and a fully equipped kitchen. Honestly, it was way better than staying in a hotel. Both the living room and the bedroom had air conditioners. The scene from the balcony was amazing you can see the old town from it. The tenet was super nice they told me I can pay anytime I want even at the last day of my stay. The tenet responded quickly to me questions. If I ever return to Gjirokaster I would definitely rent Muko's apartment again.

Very nice Hosts. Wellcome drink and cake which was really nice. Breakfast fresh. Clean and spotless flat with parking space for a car. If you want to see the Old Town, it is around 20/30min walk to Bazaar. 40/50 to Castle.
