The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Our houseboat had three rooms and a huge dining area and lobby. The houseboat was filled with Kashmiri handicrafts and beautiful hand carved furniture. It had an amazing ambience. We loved it.

It is a deluxe houseboat with intricately decorated. Rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The facilities in the houseboat were very good. The staff - Wasim, Same er and Sams were very friendly and catered to all our requests.. The food was very homely and tasty. The houseboat location is also great with very good views and away from the sounds of the main road but not far from gate 12. Mr. Goona took special care that we are ok. Overall a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.

The location is fabulous, it would be hard to pick a better location. We were very well looked after by Muhammad and the other staff. Breakfasts were nice, with plenty of variety. We were able to organise tours around Dal Lake, to the floating vegetable markets and Sonamarg with Chicago. Thank you, Chicago, we had a fabulous and very memorable time,

Featuring lake views and a garden, White House Group Of Houseboats is set in the Dal Lake district of Srinagar, 7.9 km from Pari Mahal and 8.7 km from Hazratbal Mosque. We booked the White House house boat for one night, but we extended our stay for two more nights. The location is awesome, it gives a beautiful view of dal lake from the room itself. Owner Ibrahim is very cooperative. Shikara is available even late at night. The most important thing is, hot water is available 24 hrs. The room has an air conditioner which keeps us warm at an even 1 degree temperature. The home made food they provide is also awesome.

The boathouse was amazing and the hospitality we received from Mr Firdous, his family and Mr Nasir was great. The food cook by Mr Firdous wife really tastes great and we love it so much! We even celebrate eid with their family. It was an amazing stay and looking forward to visit Kashmir again jn the future!
