We have just returned home after spending 2 days aboard the Bright Owl with our two 16-year-old children, and we truly wish we had booked a longer stay. We had an incredible experience. From the exceptionally warm and informative welcome provided by Richard and Elizabeth, to the lovely, cozy, and inviting home that offered every comfort imaginable. Furthermore, the setting was beautiful, with excellent onboard facilities and a fabulous location close to numerous places for walking, dining, drinking, exploring, and wild swimming. We eagerly anticipate our return.

We stayed with our two teenage daughters who both initially were horrified when we told them that we're staying on a boat this year, instead of a hotel. After approx 2 mins of stepping on the boat, they were very happy with our choice of accomodation. The boat is very clean and well presented, the pictures don't give it enought justice! We were hit by a storm and consequently worried about getting a good nights sleep, but the boat ballasts did their job and we all had a good night. Most reviews mention Emma, and for good reason, wonderful welcome and excellent demo on how to use the boats facilities etc. If the starts align and it works, we'll be back.
