Greg, the host was exceptionally welcoming. We had a bit of a chat with him, refreshed a bit in our room and then could use the braai/BBQ facilities. It is a wonderful entertainment space with all the bells and whistles. The room was clean and parking secured. The location is great in Sunland near the national park, although some roadworks are a bit of a nuisance at the moment. (April 2025)

All the details were taken care of to perfection and we were given interesting recommendations for activities in the area. The garden is a little oasis. The whole house has a soothing atmosphere. Together with the great bedding and peaceful surroundings, it made for the best night's sleep we had during our trip. This B&B has really won a place in our hearts.

Excellent amenities provided (complimentary coffee, tea and water and other items available for purchase). Very quiet AC. Included breakfast was excellent with healthy options and ample choice. Hot options made to order. Staff were friendly and efficient. Dinner menu offered a la carte were delicious and well priced. Grounds and pool area was immaculate. Also spacious and comfortable indoor relaxation spaces available which offer multiple environments to enjoy and relax.

On-site facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with pool loungers, BBQ facilities and safe and secure parking. A continental breakfast and a cooked English breakfast is served each morning at B&B Bydand. Fabulous breakfast at a lovely nearby guest lodge.
