The husband and wife are warm, simple, and genuine – something rare to find nowadays. Staying with them reminded us how happiness really comes from enjoying the little things. Es difícil explicar lo increíble que es este lugar. Hay muchísimos alojamientos en Sigiriya pero este es absolutamente único. La energía es calmada y amable, la naturaleza lo envuelve todo. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas a Lion Rock y Pidurangala, un privilegio único. El personal es amable, servicial, educado, profesional, amoroso, no se puede mejor. Estuvieron atentos a todas nuestras necesidades e incluso alguna dificultad que surgió con temas de transporte. Se preocupan de forma genuina por sus huéspedes. El alojamiento está completamente limpio, la comida excepcional y la cocina abierta todo el día. Los desayunos muy abundantes, recomiendo sin duda el "Sri Lanka" , muy diferente y muy delicioso. Repetiría mil veces allí. Les deseo lo mejor. Gracias.

Sashini Homestay es un alojamiento con jardín y terraza que está en Sigiriya, a 3,7 km de Pidurangala Rock, a 1,7 km de Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya y a 19 min a pie de Sigiriya Museum. The accommodation is owned by a very nice family, the rooms are very clean, the food is excellent, we felt like home here and we highly recommend it. Very good location ,close to Lion Rock, on the main street surrouded by some restaurans and few small stores. The host has his own tuk-tuk and can help with transport to Pidurangala or around the area.I strongly recomand this homestay and wish to come back here.

Yashi y su familia son encantadores, nos hemos sentido como en casa. Es maravilloso poder compartir con ellos su casa (son 3 habitaciones con baño separadas de la parte privada) pero compartes con ellos jardín, porche, comedor… Especialmente su hija pequeña me ha robado el corazón! The location is good. Walking distance from restaurants and Lion’s rock. Stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable and more than what I expected. Everything was beautiful. Peacocks running around… host is super friendly and helpful. It’s just perfect.

The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!
