A beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Our bungalow was spotless, the bed was inviting with clean white sheets. A quieter area in TukTuk. The staff was amazing, super friendly, helpful. The restaurant on spot is quite unique, healthy dishes, excellent breakfast, lots of fruits, salades, healthy bowls available. Great resto close to the guesthouse for dinner, Samuel restaurant... Amazing fried Toba fish.. Recommended by the owner/manager of HubTata... A real Schatzi as our friends called him😊

The place is amazing, best hot shower he had in Sumatra. The room is large and the beds are so comfy and the balcony is large with an amazing view. Best place we stayed in sumatra.

L’établissement Ruma Kaca Simanindo Bed&Breakfast est situé à 2,3 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Batu Hoda Beach. Il possède un restaurant, un jardin, une plage privée et un salon commun. Ruma Kaca was a real surprise! We were warmly welcomed by Tiolina (owner) and accompanied to our room and she explained everything. The room and the whole property are very lovingly decorated. The room is located in a former colonial house and has a great view of the lake. It's like staying in a living museum. The food (dinner and breakfast) was also delicious and very good. As there is also a café in Ruma Kaca, the coffee was wonderful. In her free time, Tiolina sat down at her sewing machine and sewed beautiful hair bands. Tiolina took us to Paromanang the next day and we visited the local market with her. Unfortunately, we didn't have any more time as we had to continue travelling.

Dong a été un hôte incroyablement gentil, il m’a donné pleins de conseils sur les choses à visiter sur l’île, il a été ultra conciliant sur le Check out ! La chambre était spacieuse confortable, et la terrasse avec vue sur le lac est top ! Une guesthouse a ne pas louper ! Merci bcp

I stayed at Juma Cottages by Lake Toba, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were all incredibly humble, welcoming, and accommodating, but Intan, the receptionist, truly stood out. She is such a warm and friendly person, always going the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable. Intan was not only knowledgeable about the local area but also gave us excellent recommendations for things to do. One thing that really impressed me was her attention to detail—Juma Cottages doesn’t have universal charging sockets, but Intan personally went out of her way to purchase converters for guests. She lent them to us, which made our stay much more convenient. That’s the kind of service that made our time there so special. The cottages themselves are set in a stunning, scenic location, with a beautiful pool right next to Lake Toba. It’s so peaceful, with the soothing sound of birds chirping during the day. Honestly, it was hard to leave the cottage because it felt so tranquil and relaxing. The food at the cottage was delicious and reasonably priced, which was a nice bonus. As a small precaution, I’d recommend carrying mosquito repellent. While I personally didn’t experience many issues with mosquitoes during my stay, there were a few around, so it’s better to be prepared. Overall, Juma Cottages provided a truly memorable stay, and Intan’s exceptional service made it even better. Her warmth, helpfulness, and care for the guests really set the place apart. I highly recommend staying here!

Very convenient location to walk around and check out different restaurants. The room was lovely and quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Staff were delightful and only went to the restaurant once but we had a delicious meal.

Highly recommended in house restaurant has good view of the lake and serves delicious food at a reasonable price. Drinking water can be replenished at the restaurant. Wifi works well in the property. Scooter available on site. Property can also arrange transport out of Lake Toba to various destinations. Staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Clean room is huge with comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom is big. Room has shelving racks and seating area (both indoors and outdoors). Sufficient power socket available on both sides of the bed.
