The rooms are simple but very clean, the staff and family running the hotel were wonderful and friendly, they were extremely helpful and always easy to deal with. The family running the hotel work extremely hard, we would see them serving people dinner late into the night, and then greeting you for breakfast with a big smile, asking what coffee you would like at 8am. We watched the daughter of the family converse with customers at the restaurant in 3 different languages with ease (apparently also knows a 4th). Very impressive indeed The restaurant was excellent. We ate there 3 nights in a row, we never do this and usually like to try new restaurants every night but we loved the food there and the prices were unbeatable. There is a lineup to get in every night for good reason but they always found a table for us. This is a great, family run hotel with a fantastic local style Croatian restaurant, I highly recommend Villa Palčić.

The room is small but you are in an old building and it was equipped with everything you need. Good breakfast. Parking included - only short walk away.

The hosts were very accommodating. The bus from Zadar to Novalja was cancelled. She called the bus station in Zadar then explained the situation to me. My wife and I took and Uber to Pag since the busses were cancelled but passenger vehicles could drive. The host picked us up from the city Pag and drove to Novalja(30 minutes drive) to where the accommodation is. Very accommodating in general during our stay as well.

Opened in the summer of 2017 in Metajna and featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Bara Bay offers modern accommodation just steps away from the sea on the island of Pag. Nice family owned cozy hotel. Excellent food, clean rooms, superb beds and great position and view. The best of all are the hotel owners always available and ready to help. Mare and Jure thank you for good time in Metajna. Metajna is small peaceful place ideal for families or couples. The beach is nice and easy to enter the sea.
