It was rainy but we did see the sea. There’s a picnic table that you can eat on with a splendid view. The room was big and clean with space for your belongings. The bathroom was spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast, cooked by Johny, was delicious with lots of scottish dishes. Johny was so kind with us, he showed us places to visit and they were great ! (And his dog is so cute). His crafts are also so beautiful.

The owners of the house have been very friendly with us suggesting where to eat (they called the closest inn personally to reserve a table after the closing hour) and places of interest to visit beyond the most iconic touristic places. HIGHLY SUGGESTED!

We highly enjoyed our stay at The Thistle Guesthouse, everything was exactly what we needed for a good stay at the Isle of Skye. Our room was cozy and comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious and had many different options. We also took a picnic lunch option and it was great, very tasty sandwiches and snacks. The location is very convenient to visit main Skye attractions.

Located near the water, with a wonderful view, we've very much enjoyed our stay here. Arriving in fairly bad weather we were greeted by two lovely dogs. Checking in to our room, the host led us to our room and showed us around. The breakfast was, as I assume, located in their living room, which has a mindblowing spectacular view over the scenery, the water and mountains surrounding the bay. The breakfast itself was excellent, as was the bed for the night.
