The room and ensuite were both extremely clean, the beds very comfortable and we had plenty of tea and coffee. We had a TV and WiFi and if we needed more of anything such as toilet paper, clean towels we just had to ask. We did ask actually and this was done straight away - great service and great communication!

Rooms were more silent than other hotels we visited, staff was friendly, smiling and helpful. It was great food throughout the day, and they pour an incredible pint of Guinness.

The prestigious Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building of great importance.

Host was very friendly and made us breakfast every morning to order. The rooms were comfortable and everything we wanted was within walking distance including the bus station. The rooms were very clean and the gardens were a lovely place to sit and relax.
