We stayed in the garden room, and it was delightful! Large, well appointed and comfortable, with our own access to a shared garden. The hosts attention to detail was very apparent, and the room reflected this. Very centrally located, and a brisk walk to the royal mile. The hotel has some selection for breakfast: non-vegetarian and vegetarian, we ordered both and both are super delicious! We came all the way from Indonesia and we didn't regret coming to Laird and Dog Inn. Everything was perfect. Definitely will be back again!

The owner was really friendly and accommodating. She made me feel very welcome and helped with any request I had. The room was beautiful, spacious and the en suite was modern and a good size. Everything was clean and serviced. I hope to return again as the location for the town was perfect!

Beautiful, spacious room with fireplace and high ceiling. Very clean, very comfortable. In the hallway we could use the microwave, dishes and cutlery. Our host was most gracious and accommodating. Parking in front of house was free. Shopping center across the street. Easy instructions. Bus connection to edinburgh city center 20 min.

    Location was excellent. Tucked away, surrounded by a large well kept garden making the property quiet and private. The room was a in a separate coach house annex with its own little patio area. Good coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge.
