Eva was such a wonderful host. She went out of her way to explain all the local amenities and sites to see. The breakfast was great too. Our stay was lovely and we really enjoyed our time in Santiago de Compostela. We highly recommend PR Tambre for a stay there.

Wonderful hotel tucked away in the old center, very clean, quiet and with nice facilities. The service and assistance of the staff was wonderful too. Lovely breakfast with fresh juice and nice selection of cheeses.

I liked the location - very easy to find and to walk there from the train/bus station and situated just at the edge of the old city. The stuff friendly and helpful, we could leave our bags for some hours before departure after the check-out. The room was freshly renovated and looked really beautiful. It was cozy, warm, had hot water and a nice balcony. Will definitely come back next time.

Everything about this place was special. It was an amazing experience to stay there. Our host was friendly and generous. There is a bus no. 4 from the centre of Santiago to reach it - make sure to ask the host where to find its stop. If you are travelling in a wheelchair, keep in mind that the bus has no ramp and is not accessible.

it was located right on the Camino. The facility was very upscale, clean, and attractive. The host was exceptionally kind and provided excellent service to tired Pilgrims. As noted in the facility name, the location is only 6 miles from Santiago Cathedral which makes for an easy, mid to late morning arrival. The beds were comfortable and ample towels were provided.

    This was the only place on the Camino Portugues where we were handed our keys, and invited to go to our room before doing the paperwork.Very thoughtful. The staff and nuns were all friendly, smiling and helpful. Our room was simple but comfortable with a private bathroom The casa diocesana is in a quiet area, a 15minutes' walk from the cathedral. Breakfast is plentiful, with fresh fruit, cheese and ham etc.
