I booked last minute and I was not expecting anything fancy but the room was really great! A/C worked, shower with warm water and a fridge to keep bottle of water inside. The staff goes beyond everything if you can manage to communicate with them! The location for me was perfect, central and near a supermarket. The breakfast at the bar downstairs is also great! You can walk around, it is safe ! I would definitely stay there again.

Even though we stayed for one night only, we enjoyed our stay so much. Waldimiro is super friendly and helpful. He answers all the questions through WhatsApp. He also provided free airport transfers in and out which were very helpful for us. The room itself is basic but clean and had strong WIFI and AC. Highly recommended.

Ocean View Guesthouse offers a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in São Tomé. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Location was wonderful. Laurindo took care of the transfers as it is impossible to use a rental car to get there, and took us, for a fee, to town for dinner one night. There was no charge for our transfer from and to the airport. Laurendino also took us to a supermarket before taking us to the Ocean View. One needs to get groceries. He also was kind to arrange two boat trips to Goat Island. We were lucky to have the whole Guesthouse including the kitchen for ourselves. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Laurendino!
