Annika provided excellent advice and suggestions for local adventures with detailed maps, guides, and binoculars (we even saw an abandoned bear den!). - Cuisine: Chef Kjelle's cuisine was AMAZING, made from locally grown and organic ingredients. Every meal was absolutely delicious (we ate breakfasts and dinners), and special care was taken to accommodate my vegetarian diet, which I greatly appreciated. - Location: The property is ideally situated near Fulufjället National Park and other natural sites such as Nipfjället, Yxningåfallen Falls, and Tjärnvallen Falls. We enjoyed exploring these stunning natural areas and were lucky to see an elk and a few reindeer. - Amenities: The bungalow we stayed in was perfectly clean and very comfortable (comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, very spacious etc). - Communication: Clear and efficient communication via the booking.com app. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in nature with wonderful hosts and delicious food.

Gästhus Nornäs is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Nornäs, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. Our hosts, Chris and Tom, were super friendly, chatty, and genuinely caring—we really enjoyed their company. The property itself is lovely: very clean, calm, and with a beautiful view from the room. It truly felt like home. The room, bathroom, and toilet were all perfect. The only small point is that the room isn’t very soundproof, though we were lucky to have quiet neighbors. Also, there was no hairdryer in the room. The shared kitchen is big, fully equipped, and kept spotless. Breakfast was more than satisfactory—we had it all four mornings and were very happy with it. It’s comparable to what you’d get in a good 2–3 star hotel. The surroundings are wonderful, with a small scenic lake nearby and plenty of outdoor activities available, such as biking, e-biking, canoeing, ... Overall, we were truly satisfied with our stay. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

This family-run B&B is in Vikarbyn, by Lake Siljan in the Dalarna Region. Rooms and cottages here share a fully equipped guest kitchen and free private parking. Rättvik is 7 km away. We had a fabulous stay! We were greeted by accommodating, helping and relaxed personell (family business). We had the family room (it has its own shower!). It’s always a compromise to sleep with four people in one room, especially when dad tends to snore, but thats on us and not Backlunda. Breakfast was exzellent and above our expectations for a B&B. There’s a terrass on the second floor with an amazing view over the Siljan lake and its surroundings.

Situated in Leksand, 39 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre and 45 km from Falun Mine, Idyllic Dalarna farmhouse at the lake offers a garden and air conditioning. Beautiful and secluded place. The houses were very clean, cozy and well-equipped.

Situated just 23 km from Dalhalla Amphitheatre, Tällberg, utsikt över Siljan offers accommodation in Leksand with access to massage services, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and... 100% location. Not much light pollution so it’s easy to see the milkyway! Also a very short trip to Siljan, which is 100% recommended. Peaceful en quiet.
