Host Jan was welcoming and we loved her bread every morning. The kitchen area is well organized with many extras. We enjoyed the outdoor area as well Only place we have stayed with screens on the windows. Didn’t miss a kitchen sink as dirty dishes go in a bin and they are washed for you. Loved that part!

It's a charming little cottage run by a very warm and friendly couple. There are apple trees all over the property and it's clear that the garden is well-tended. The shared kitchen is large and well-furnished. The shared bathroom is incredibly clean, possibly cleaner than my home. You can tell the owners take pride in maintaining the place and do their best to make sure guests have a comfortable stay.

This is without a doubt, a hidden gem. Alice is just the most wonderful hostess. Her house is unbelievable. But that all pales, compared to the view you have from the back deck. Nice big windows, super clean, and spacious. Great little kitchenette. Immaculate grounds. Even in proximity to the main house, it felt very private. My husband said it was the best self-contained booking he had ever stayed at for such a price (he was also comparing to AirBnBs)--and I would have to agree. It was in a great location for our next day of exploring too!

Situated in Paihia in the Northland region, Paihia Place Cottage - central Paihia has a patio. Everything. This cottage had litteraly everything u need. Space was used brilliantly. Attention to detail like the little flowers in a pot was exeptional. Definately the best place we ever stayed that was booked through Bookings. The owner Corinne & her partner are just so welcoming & friendly & helpful.
