We really enjoyed our stay, and extended it by a day as we didn’t want to leave this beachside paradise!

Boasting inner courtyard views, Nimbu Beachhouse offers accommodation with a garden, around a few steps from El Transito Beach. I loved my stay at Nimbu! Such a Great Place with nice staff, everything is really comfy and beautiful. Food is delicious and some variety during the stay. The hostel is small so you can really connect with the people.

Featuring pool views, Casa Todo Bueno provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and barbecue facilities, around a few steps from El Transito Beach. Jon, Janelle and Lenny's (the boss dog!) place is well worth the stay. Their hospitality is warm, friendly and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious, and the beds are super comfortable. The common area and kitchen are really well stocked with cookware, and there's a little grocery store across the street as well as in the town. We loved the viewing deck for lounging in the day. The AC cost (if you use it) is also below the going rate for using AC in Nicaragua, and the ceiling fans / windows move the air around really well. We've been to El Transito a few times and it's by far one of the best deals / places to stay, we're going back again in a few days! You can also ask then questions about what to do and how to get around, they know the area very well and are really helpful.
