Only 30 minutes away from the busy airport, you arrive through a beautiful alley of mangrove trees to be greeted by the great team of Ging Oya. Imasha, Romesh, Nilantha and all the other staff make you feel right at home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The pool is clean, large and a nice way to cool down. If you like nature and some quiet time, you should definitely plan to stay at Ging Oya. I know, I will again next time!

Sandy Edge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalpitiya, 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. Great location close to beach. This area SL low key not all built up, quieter! The great breezes make it kite surfers paradise, and the breezes make the huge covered porch a nice place to hang out.. The family that manages very helpful, content & beautiful. They make good food, and help arrange local needs. The first night I stayed in budget room, but then upgraded for 2 nights to the larger cabana because it has better cross ventilation & surfaces to put things on. Both size rooms have your own porch with cushioned seating. Neither rooms have a/c but you don't need it with the good breezes & room fans.

Luna Laguna is situated in Kalpitiya. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Quiet place surrounded by lush greenery, with few rooms only and with beautiful view of the lagoon. Staff are very nice and helpful, food is amazing. Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!

Offering a garden and garden view, Sulashika Beach House is set in Kandakuli, 400 metres from Kandakuliya Beach and 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. It was tiny but comfortable accomodation with carefully maintained facilities, the host do not worry to help you going extra mile. The place is beautiful with little bit of landscaping. Wonderful experience 😄✨Btw they provided 2 fans

Set just 1.2 km from Kammala Beach, holidays hotel offers accommodation in Dummaladeniya East with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.

What a delightful place to have spent the last 7 days on our first visit to this tropical island of Sri Lanka! The serenity, tranquility and natural beauty of Khomba House is breathtaking. The vast lush beautifully landscaped property .. the palm and other trees, the well maintained gardens, the koi pond is a nice touch, the sound of the ocean, the wide variety of birds singing and squawking including the majestic peacocks with their long brilliant tail feathers.. .. all of this just steps away from a quiet stretch of beach looking out into the Indian Ocean. This well appointed rustic styled home completely embraces nature. We were welcomed with the warm hospitality of Sisira, Indrani and Rocksan who were there to fulfill and absolutely anticipated our every need. Sisira coordinated everything and great at his job. He was also very protective of us throughout our stay. When he helped us hire a Tuk Tuk taxi he checked with the driver during our outing until we arrived back at the house! Then he was there with a flashlight to guide inside. And he was like that for our entire stay. Indrani nourished us daily with an abundance of wonderfully prepared local dishes. It was always more food than we could eat and we tried our best to eat as much as possible so she would not be disappointed. Rocksan’s daily routine of cleaning our accommodations was very much appreciated.. everything was always kept very fresh; he was always busy in the background sweeping or in the garden and opening or closing the doors and windows at the right times of the day. At sundown when the mosquitoes started to make an appearance Rocksan made sure to light the repellent which I appreciated since they LOVE me! I also loved the fresh flowers throughout the house.
