Wonderful views over the bay. We had complete privacy with access to assistance whenever it was needed by Jolene who was extremely helpful and happy. Elia was a fabulous warm caring tour guide with all the local knowledge who coordinated and drove us to experience the waterfall, hot pools and great snorkelling. Brilliant stay!

Set in Savusavu in the Vanua Levu region, Gingerbread Cottage and Studio Fiji features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The cottage is amazing ! Jan is super helpful and friendly. The place is charming and had everything you need to cook, spend rainy days inside playing games, go out in the water. Location is really nice and calm, close to the city. There is even a Veggie garden you can use for mint and basil which were really tasty. Facing the seafront in Naviti Island, Wai Makare Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The homestay has family rooms. I adored this place and could have stayed forever. Emily and the boys were so nice and made my stay wonderful. Loads of activities available like snorkelling, manta rays, hiking, spearfishing, kayaking, but all can be done on your own timetable (as in, no fixed group spots like at resorts). The food was homely, varied, and delicious, made from locally grown or foraged ingredients like cassava and seagrapes. The beach is beautiful, with some of the most colourful reefs I’ve seen anywhere just a 50m swim out. The rooms are basic, but great if that’s what you’re expecting. A warning: there’s no internet reception, so prepare accordingly (a weak reception might be available if you walk down the beach and up some rocks)

Sigasiga Sands Boutique Bungalows is a recently renovated villa in Savusavu, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. From the first communication to leaving, communication with understanding and patience was highly informative, friendly and very professional. Gene, Subash and Sunita treated us better than family. Coco cottage was wonderful, full of charm and personality, with a wonderful view of the sea. Sunita prepared wonderful dishes of steamed okra, chicken curry and pumpkin lolo, that were absolutely delicious. Sigasiga sands has an understated charm, so much space to explore, such a wonderful beach, with amazing snorkeling and so many hermit crabs to say hello to. The nature trail behind the resort was a welcome foray into the rain forest and also gave us a wonderful vista of where the resort it on the coast. We would go back without a question.

Sunrise Lagoon Homestay is offering accommodation in Nanuya Lailai. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, water sports facilities and a garden. The best homestay! People are really nice and the island is beautiful. Fresh cooked food every day and lots of things to do. You can walk to the other side of the island, go to the Blue Lagoon, snorkel, visit a school, visit caves, explore the island or just relax and watch an amazing sunrise. You don’t want to leave this place :)

Offering an outdoor pool and sun terrace, Naveria Heights Lodge is set in Savusavu. Guests can enjoy stunning panoramic ocean views. Gorgeous view and everything inside the property is aesthetically pleasing. You will not find a single thing on the property whether it is a mug, plate, piece of art, etc and not think “that is nice” it is very well put together. Staff are excellent and many have worked with the owner for a decade.

Yasawa Homestays is set in Nacula Island. Located on the beachfront, this property has a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. It was homely and comfortable whilst still giving the chance to experience real village life on the island and live how the families do there.

Had an absolutely amazing time staying at this little slice of paradise. It has beautiful views, great vibes in the house and is so close to Split Rock. Everyone is so kind there as well. One of the best places ive stayed. Also has a range of activities which can be provided!

Unique experience, living in a village among the community. Unbelievably beautiful beach, reefs and sunsets. Worth the minor challenges of a simple hut, variable food, outhouse and cold showers. Bring a ball or some watercolors to play with all the kids!
