I drive to the place. There's a local grocery store and restaurant in the neighbourhood. I would like to stay there again.

Marvleous hosts. <although the dinner was some 12 kms from our accommodation in Lomamokki it was all worth the drive. The dinner was excepptionally tasty, although simple straight forward Finnish "kotiruoka". The youngish chef needs a commendation for his work. He also briefed us thoroughly the menu.I will visit again.

Providing lake views, Lomatila Ollila Farm Stay in Kerimäki provides accommodation, a private beach area, water sports facilities, free bikes, a garden and a terrace. We stayed in several places around southern Finland, and this was the best. The location by the lake is stunning. We ate dinner at a lakeside restaurant a few miles away, run by a friend of our host. Savonlinna is a short drive away, as is the world's largest wooden church. Great base for exploring Finnish nature. Amazing breakfast, including local specialities, freshly made bread, and cooked eggs and sausages. Given that we were the only people staying that night (summer season had not started yet), this was exceptional service. The breakfast room in the farmhouse was very pretty.

This property is set on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, lakeside sauna and homemade Finnish food. Everything was exceptional. On our first night we had early dinner there prior to the opera. It was better than any restaurant & very reasonably priced. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Laura Kalle & the whole Bjorn family were very lovely & extremely helpful. We took a canoe out on the lake which was very peaceful, no one else there. 15 minutes drive out by of Savonlinna but easy to find & countryside is beautiful
