Jackson and her wife made me feel like home, they are very kind, friendly and they were always willing to help us. Good breakfast everyday, they rent bikes for good price and also can offer tours. Walking distance to center was 10 min. I enjoyed my staying with them.

The view is outstanding n nothing more relaxing than hearing the ocean day and night. Jose at the reception was amazing. So attentive, professional n knowledgeable about the area.

Excellent spot just on the edge of town but still so close to everything. It was super clean and the room we got was such a lovely big room at such good value for money. Lastly, Joel and his family were lovely hosts, really willing to help and make things nice for us and help us save money!

Offering a garden, Hostal Los Flamencos offers accommodation in Puerto Villamil. The property features lake and quiet street views, and is 200 metres from Puerto Villamil Beach. For a fraction of the price of a fancy hotel, La Flamecos provides the most (if not more) than most of the other hotels on Isabsla. First, amazing location almost surroundded by a picteresque lagoon beloved by flamingoes. My room overlooked the lagoon and I woke up every morning to the magic sight and sound of flamingoes beginning their day and "quarelling" over their territory or the food, or some other flamingo business. The hostal is 1 block away from a beautiful beach (you could hear the waves from the room, but could see them only from balcony outside), restaurants, and tour agencies. It is 5 minutes car ride to the ferry and Concha de Perla, and 10 min walk to the tortoise breeding center. Further down there is a Wall of Tears hike too. Second, on an island with no pavement I had a reliable endless HOT shower in the room! Asking around, even people who shelled out top dollar for beachfront hotels had lukewarm shower. Third, clean bed and room with refrigerator, a/c, balcony to hang the swimsuits, and a proper mosquito net. I tended to use little a/c, but kept my windows open and did not get bitten once. If there were minor annoyances (tiny sink, little ants, dirty spot on the wall, etc.), I just dealt with it, because I could not possibly expect more than I got for the price I paid. And finally - amazing, warm, welcoming staff. Melina and Olga were always there if I needed ANYTHING. Extra blanket, beach towel, advice on tours, taxis, anything I wanted and at any time of the day. By the end of my stay it really felt like being part of their family. Thank you for a wonderful stay and magic memories of Isabela!

Located in Puerto Villamil in the Isabela Island region, Sandy Feet House has a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a patio and free WiFi. The location of this house is out of this world. It is hard to tell in the pictures but the beach out the back door is Beautiful and at many times during the day you are one of a few people on the beach for miles, just such an incredible value. The house was also very nice and the internet was great after experiencing “other” Galapagos internet speeds. We didn’t it use the tour agency promoted by the host as their office is pretty far away, there are other good agencies closer to the house.

Flip Flop House is located in Puerto Villamil, 600 metres from Puerto Villamil Beach, and provides a balcony, garden, and free WiFi. This holiday home offers accommodation with a patio. The house is spacious, modern and very comfortable. It has AC in each of the bedrooms and one in the shared/living room. There are three toilets in total, a beachbag, towels - everything taken care of. Elena, the host, is also super helpful and gives a lot of recommendations on tours and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time and recommend to stay at Flip Flop House when on Isabela island.
