Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

Located in Cahuita, 10 minutes’ drive from the National Park, Oceanfront La Diosa Nature Lodge features an outdoor pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea and is only a 3 minute walk from the biggest beach... Beautiful Swimming pool and garden. Very friendly staff. Room spacious and nice. Bed comfi. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night! Walk is an option…max 30 min to center. Or 3000 taxi. Snorkeling tour an walk in Cuahita was nice!

Hotel El Colibri Rojo - Cabinas - Le Colibri Rouge is a bed and breakfast hotel located 3 km from Cahuita centre. and 300 metres from National Park Cahuita. Very nice owners, the possibility to wash our laundry helped us a lot.

Situated in Cahuita, LaLola Villa Privada features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The locaton was perfect and the house itself was amazing! We stayed in the Gata room, the other two rooms looked just as amazing with two queen size beds which were very comfortable. The outside kitchen and pool area was tastfully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need if you want to prepare a large dinner or party. The pool was clean and water clear and perfect temperature. And the nature, wow! Woke up to howler monkeys every morning and the variety of birds was entertaining as well as other jungle animals, iguanas, etc.
