We had been travelling for 6 weeks and this was the best place we’ve stayed at by far. We had the best time here and so much fun. The family that runs the guesthouse is lovely and take good care of you, they set up a campfire every night and will keep the bar open as long as you need. We spent all day relaxing by the river and meeting the different families that run the guest houses along the river. We highly recommend you socialize with the locals and the other guests because it makes the experience so much better! Next summer we want to come back and spend a whole week there!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was right at the lake where you could take a swim (after a short climb) with almost nobody around. The location was magnificent as was the short trip to pigeon cave. Breakfast was delicious!

Situated just 50 km from Port of Bar, Iart Residence features accommodation in Shirokë with access to pool with a view, free bikes, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The host is our favourite. They were a muslim family and made sure we are well taken care of. Her husband even cooked halal chicken pie for us from him farm chicken. Love these guys they made us breakfast with so much love. It felt like we are living in out own home. Their hospitality is admirable

Borealis Guest House is a recently renovated guest house in Koman, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. The property has mountain and lake views. Awesome location! Very accommodating hosts! Mario arranged our boat trip and also transportation to ferry location. Definitely take advantage of eating dinner and breakfast at the guesthouse. It’s farm to table dining. Homemade cheese from their goats and cow, homemade bread, jams and honey from their bees and trees, home grown chickens and fish from the lake. Mountain tea from dried plants.
