LOCATION perfect - beachfront, you can every day make long walks at beach. HOTEL perfect - totally renovated hotel, everything is new and clean. STAFF perfect - absolutely incredible, they are helpfull, kind and make you feel like at home. Even now, a few days after my vacation I still have the feeling that guests really come first at the Kobe hotel. Everyone is very nice and helpful, if there is any problem, it was immediately solved. I spent three weeks in Zanzibar and travelled all over island but Kobe hotel left a really warm trace in me and if I return to Zanzibar I know I will visit Kobe hotel again. Due to the fact that the hotel unfortunately burned down and had to be rebuilt, the owners and the new staff involved in the rebuilding have been incredibly supportive and appreciative of every guest who arrives at the new hotel and they are one good team, no team, family. They really try to accommodate you in absolutely everything and fulfill your every wish, I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. Special thanks to Mariam, Kelvin and Victor - you are the best, keep going. Hakuna matata 🫶❤🫶❤🫶

We had the big apartment with three bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped, apartments were very clean, house cleaning took care every day. The balcony (I should say terrace as it is huge) and the rooms were furnished very nicely and there were mosquito nets for every bed. (However, when we were there in January there were only very few mosquitos). Furthermore, there were air cons and ceiling fans working well. Lots of different lights as well. Liked the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable, All rooms had big window fronts as well as light blocking curtains. Also the terrace had white curtains, which is nice if you want to have privacy while using the terrace. It is a small complex with 8 - 10 apartments, so it is never too busy. This is also the case if you want to book one of the two beautiful pools for you and your company for an hour or two. Was very relaxing.

I absolutely love this location, it is perfect, at high tide the stairs, leading to the beach from the property are covered in water, at low tide, you have super soft sand to walk to the sea which is just a few metres away. Great swimming location. And everything that you need is in the apartment including an ice cold fridge. If you don’t feel like cooking , there is a restaurant next door with good value food and drinks. There are many other restaurants further on the beach if you feel like walking 15 minutes on the beach, including a very nice pizza place. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here and would stay here for the whole Zanzibar time and make this my base in the future. If it’s still available, just book it

This little apartment was perfect! Just a few meters from Bahari pizza and bungalows where you can use the sun beds and go to the beach. Breakfast was not included but we chose to have it at Bahari pizza as it was delicious. The owner is very nice as well as the whole team working there!

I had the best time at villa mina. If you’re thinking twice about booking this place don’t even think about it but run,lol I was a solo female traveler and I felt safe and comfortable at all times. Mina the host is such a darling ❤️ I’m definitely coming back!
