The location of the apartments is so convenient!! Just down the road from Forio. The room itself was amazing. Air conditioning worked great and was definitely essential! Small fridge in the room to store drinks and food. The outside space was my favourite part of the apartment, we spent every evening out there enjoying a couple of drinks, just be sure to protect yourself with some anti mosquito prevention like candles or wipes that you can pick up at the neighbouring store. On the first night I did get bitten probably 15 times on just my legs, but this can't be helped and there were anti mosquito products provided. Natasha was such a great host, she surprised us with a lovely bottle of prosecco in the fridge upon arrival. She sent videos and instructions on how to get into the apartment. On the last day, she allowed us to leave our luggage in the hallway after checking out so we could continue exploring the island before our ferry back to Naples. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, and was really sad to leave! I would highly recommend this place.

Perfect location, very central, close to the beach and the harbour. Nice room with a balcony. Good communicaion with the host, so helpful. I highly recomend this place. If you stay for a longer time, this room might be to small. But for two-three days it’s perfect!

The apartment is in the most beautiful location with views over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius can be seen on the mainland. There is a large terrace in front of the apartment and table and chairs to enjoy outdoors dining and views. Our host Ivan was very helpful and arranged to have us picked up by his father who made us feel at home immediately and was always available when we needed assistance. Ivan helped us to get a vehicle to rent at excellent rates for our week there.

Amazing! I could not recommend enough! Anna and Katia were super sweet and helpful. Bed was super big, the room clean and also big. The location was great, with lots of restaurants and caffes near by. The beach and the port was 5 min walking, the bus stop as well.

Vito was very friendly and he and Ilaria did everything to give us all we needed. The rooms were very clean, modern and well equipped. The hotel was very good value for money. The solarium with plunge pool is lovely and good value if using it for a whole day. We were late arriving and used it for just over an hour so the owners gave us free wine and water to enhance our time there. Mavilan is in a good position between Ischia Port and Ischia Ponte with the castle. It is a short walk from the main eating and shopping area. We would definitely stay there again.
