In general, accommodation prices in Ireland are quite high, but having a supermarket right across from the hotel made shopping much easier and added great value to our stay.

We were delighted to be met by the person who runs St Martin´s Guest House personally. Due to mobile phone problems, we were very worried that communication about keys and our room would only be done digitally so it was a great relief that he was there personally when we arrived. (other landlords please take note). He was both helpful and friendly. We took his advice and ate in the evening at the nearby Dock Hotel, where we had the most delicious fish in all of our trip to Ireland.
