We loved the old world charm of the large room with it’s bay windows and fireplace. The bed was very cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with not just a shower but a stand alone bath tub. Extra towels were provided with bath robes and slippers. Also, extra treats provided, for example home made chocolate cake on arrival, were exceptional. Our host was fantastic and the breakfasts she provided each morning were a feast for the eyes and tastebuds. Although the street is narrow, parking was not a problem.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Madeleine’s lovely B&B. The place was spotlessly clean, the shower was great, and every morning Madeleine brought us a delicious fresh breakfast. A wonderful warm welcome from Alison, who was so helpful throughout our stay. The property is gorgeous - beautiful and comfortable room, with small fridge, tea-making and toiletries included. Very clean and also comfy beds. The dining room was so lovely and cheerful and breakfast was amazing - and everyone was catered for. A well stocked honestly bar too, which we didn’t use, but a great idea.
