The location was quiet and beautiful We traveled a lot and this was our last accommodation out of around 8. The beds were by far the biggest and most comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had a lot of towels which I quite liked. We had a bit of outside space which we appreciated although we haven’t used it much.

Amazing Belle Èpoque mansion in a conservation area that is evocative of better times. De Haan must surely be one of the best preserved Golden Age seaside towns in the world, you feel as if you have walked into a French Impressionist painting, such a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the Belgium coast. Steps away from the action, and on the way to the beach these are whole streets lined with amazing grand mansions. At Masion Rebelais you are greeted with an invitation to sit to enjoy a tea/coffee and homemade cake in the lounge or terrace. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional, service is attentive & nothing is overlooked, you are even invited to return for afternoon tea if you’re still in the area. A stop on the coast not to be missed.
