Amazing, cozy apartment. Historical house but clean and fresh. Everything necessary included (fresh towels and bed linen, coffee and kitchen accessories). We came with a dog and were greeted with two other friendly dogs and a curious cat. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly, definitely recommended!

Beautiful and comfortable apartment composed of a large room with a bed, sofa, coffee table, TV and a wardrobe, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a fairly large shower. After long walks in the city and in the salt mine, the most important thing is a good restorative sleep and the bed is very comfortable allowing you to wake up well rested and ready for another adventurous day. Outside there is also a table with chairs that guests can use. The host is very friendly and available for any information. Easy check-in and if you arrive by car it's a great location as you have also a parking spot and you can park exactly in front of the apartment.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

Although we cannot see the lake from the room, we could spend very relaxed time in the quiet surroundings. Moreover, staffs were very kind and the breakfast was good especially because there are little restaurants and cafe in the town. The location is also good because we can easily access to the salt mine,the bus stop to Oberatain and one of the most beautiful viewpoint.

I didn’t expect anything much but turned out it was a really amazing stay. The room was spacious and actually can fit 4 people. The room that I got is no.6 which comes with perfect view. The direction is the further away from the boat station that only 7 mins walk the opposite direction from the main view point but trust me, it’s way better than the hotels near the boat station. Love this place. Thank you for having me.

The view from balcony is amazing. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Facility is very clean. Great foods, services and more amazing views from the Seecafe downstairs (photos attached). Love everything about this place.

Perfect view throughout the balcony. Water pressure is so good. Small room but is fine and really nice bed. We slept so well. One night is not enough. Worth to stay for few more nights. Now I'm so miss this beautiful place and apartment.
