Really cool, nice place. From the beginning the staff were really good at communications, arranging our ferry passage up the lake and making sure we made it to the ferry port ok. Shala River is definitely worth a visit, I’ve not been anywhere like it. The property itself is really nice, very comfortable and clean rooms and we had a balcony facing the river. We felt our property had the best stretch of river outside it. The restaurant served really good food and nice breakfast too and the drinks prices were a good price compared to other bars on the river. We’d definitely recommend Guesthouse Zgiboza if visiting Shala River.

Beautiful hotel in a nice little town. Wonderful view over the lake, from the room or balcony. Very welcoming and friendly owners, beautiful healthy and delicious breakfast, different each day. (See their Instagram account) When we had car trouble they arranged a towtruck and advised us for a garage, they even came to pick us up! Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

The host is our favourite. They were a muslim family and made sure we are well taken care of. Her husband even cooked halal chicken pie for us from him farm chicken. Love these guys they made us breakfast with so much love. It felt like we are living in out own home. Their hospitality is admirable
