Coast Inn at Lake Hood, is a short walk away to watch float planes take on and off from one of the busiest seaplane bases in the world. The room size was very large and very comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Watching the planes land and take off was fun.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, this Anchorage hotel offers a free 24-hour shuttle services are offered to/from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum is 2 miles away. I always enjoy coming to the Puffin Inn. Everyone is always so friendly even when things get overwhelming or hectic. I loved that when my plane came in earlier than expected, the front desk associate didn't keep me waiting and placed me in an available room. The room was super big for just me BUT I remained thankful and just stayed in the space and kept it neat. First time I was on the 3rd floor and was excited to have access to an elevator.
