We had dinner in the restaurant but the self catering facilities were really nice, and our twin room was very cute and comfortable. We used their track transport service for the Caples-Greenstone track and it could not have been smoother and more convenient….our little rental car would have definitely not enjoyed a couple of the fords on the way.

Just as described on the website, the venue is located in a small village which can be reached by gravel road. The road itself is well-maintained and we had no trouble driving in. The house itself is not big, but it does have everything one would need, plus a great panoramic view to the lake. The breakfast is served in a little restaurant nearby and it was delicious.
