From the balcony, we have a breathtaking view of nature and the surrounding area. We went to see the sunrise, which was very convenient as the accommodation is less than 5 minutes from the beach. The house is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. You quickly feel at home. The garden is beautiful and it's great fun to have breakfast in the sun on the balcony overlooking the sea.

The lodge was a perfect setting for our stay, we fortunately had pretty awesome weather so could make good use of the lovely outdoor decks. Our apartment was clean and well set up. Fiona, our host, was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The lodge itself is just a short walk from Tryphena Bay, with an easy visit to the pub, cafe and local store.

Plenty of space at the top. Units very nice and vastly better than some of the other accommodation options we experienced at Great Barrier.

The grounds were wonderfully maintained with lots of space for children to play, and the staff were so kind and friendly.
