Located in Reykjavík and only 1.8 km from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach, SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury, HG-17071 provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb exceeded all expectations. We would highly recommend Edda’s Airbnb to anyone looking for a top-notch accommodation experience! Thank you, Edda, for making our trip so memorable!

Reykjavík (0.7 miles from Reykjavík Domestic Airport)
Comfortable and stylish apartment in quiet area downtown is a recently renovated apartment in the centre of Reykjavík, 2.6 km from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach and 400 metres from Hallgrímskirkja... I liked the location and didn’t have to pay for parking. 5 minute walk to church about 10 minute from downtown.
Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
Fantastic location, located closely to so many fantastic restaurants, grocery stores and everything you need to enjoy your stay.... very easy to drive into Reykjavik or head out onto the Ring Road elsewhere.
We visited Iceland for 5 days and spend 4 nights in Reykjavik, We spent only 1 day sight seeing in the city. The remaining days we spent exploring the south east part of the island and the Golden Circle. If you just want the see the city 1 day is more than enough to leisurely see the entire city. Unless you want to spent time in the museums and galleries.
ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities. The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.
This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.
I just adored this city. Iceland has such a gorgeous mix of city, spa and nature. We stayed for four nights and managed to squeeze in two full city days, soaking up the calm, cosy vibes of Reykjavík and the DELICIOUS food. On day 3, we hit the Sky Lagoon (a must-see/do!), had a chilled afternoon and then went out for dinner at Sumac (highly recommend) and the Magic Ice Bar. On Day 4, we did a full day Golden Circle tour Classic Day trip excursion with Reykjavik Excursions (booked via TripAdvisor). This was possibly the highlight of the trip as we not only saw all the key nature spots: Thingvellir National Park, the Great Geysir and the Gullfoss waterfall, but our tour guide (Darren) and driver (Ibra) were superb! Don’t have enough superlatives for how brilliant the tour was. We ended our trip with a Northern Lights tour by Arctic Adventures. We managed to see them after poor conditions meant the tour had been cancelled all four nights prior. It was an unbelievable experience and our tour guide made such a stellar effort, taking us to three locations to make sure we saw as much as possible. An unforgettable experience and a country like no other! I’ll be back!
