The bungalow was very spacious and well decorated. The terrasse was amazing and it was a really pleasant to sit and eat breakfast there. The breakfast was well served and delicious! The owner is very kind and helpful, she helped us get a scooter as well as a shared taxi to Moni. It is pretty close to beach, where you'll find a nice restaurant located on Sea World resort. It is not close to center of Maumere, but it didn't bother us at all.

Coconut Garden was amazing. The room was wonderful, the open air bathroom one of a kind and huge! The staff was amazing, they also find more soft pillows for the bed and they clean and change towels every day. They have a super nice breakfast with fresh fruit and a dish of your choice and the food was delicious! They prepared us a breakfast box (not so rich though) to take to the volcano trip! The tour to Pulau Babi was very well organized and the snorkeling was great… not to mention the fresh grilled fish at Babi Island!!!! The pampered us in many ways and we spent there wonderful relaxing days.

The house was in a great location right on the beach. The bed was comfortable and the small fan provided inside the bug net made it cool to sleep. Loved having a small kitchen with refrigerator to keep some snacks, beer and to be able to make tea. Hammock on the porch was the best! The bathroom was nice and I loved the outdoor shower. Fredh, the caretaker and point of contact, was great! He arranged for food to be brought over every night for dinner and was just a short walk up the beach if I needed anything. I loved being able to swim and snorkel right out in front of the house and got to see a bunch of starry night octopuses out hunting in the seagrass when night snorkeling! I did have a motorbike that I had rented in Ende and it made getting there very convenient.

We loved everything! The atmosphere is incredible, we arrived and felt right away at home. We loved our bungalow with the most beautiful view over the ocean and every evening a stunning sunset. The food was so delicious, we loved the dinner buffet, with traditional dishes and to eat with all the other guests together. The organised diving trips have been glorious! It’s really a little oasis, filled with love and tranquility. We really could wind down, relax and rejuvenate. We stayed one week and would have loved to never leave again.

A bit outside of Maumere (about 20-25min by bike, 30 by car), so nice and quiet except directly on the road so there was traffic noise. The fan in the bedroom was nice for keeping airflow but just wish we had another blanket (we could have asked earlier but at night there were no staff around). The staff were super nice and helpful and moved us to a better room. Online only the deluxe double (room with 2 double beds) was available but there were rooms on the water with just 1 double bed so maybe WhatsApp them for availability as opposed to booking online. Not many people around so the staff close up around 6pm unless you’re eating dinner. Not much for snorkeling that we saw, but maybe if you swim out a bit. Right on the shore is mostly rocks. Beds: had a mosquito net if you are into that. A little too soft for us but great pillows and clean and comfortable. Bathrooms: Hot water! Like super hot. Our first true super hot shower in a week! Great water pressure and clean and nice. All around a great stay along our journey around Flores. Great sunset spot!! Beautiful!
