Cerca de la playa, hacia la izquierda, hay un arrecife de coral para hacer esnórquel y en los días de mar tranquilo se pueden hacer buenos vídeos. El pueblo está un poco lejos andando pero se puede ir también en moto. Y lo mejor, el alojamiento ofrece transporte gratis desde el aeropuerto de Maumere. Great, bright rooms, modern good bathroom, good aircon, quiet lication. And also good wifi. Very welcoming staff and a very nice manager who reallt cares about his guests and can give tips, arrange a shared taxi and help to get an "ojek" (motorbike taxi) or rent motorbike. We enjoyed also the delicious breakfast with great choices and home-made marmelade and fresh fruits. Dinner in restaurant excellent, too, with reasonable pricing. They offer also cold beer. And they had a library with german books. There is a beach nearby (15 min walk) , east of hotel. Ok for swimming at high tide. Also nice for beach walk and beach has a beach-side cafe open at day-time. Ojeks and minibuses (normally crowded) go along the road , one does not need own transport.

The bed was comfortable and the small fan provided inside the bug net made it cool to sleep. Loved having a small kitchen with refrigerator to keep some snacks, beer and to be able to make tea. Hammock on the porch was the best! The bathroom was nice and I loved the outdoor shower. Fredh, the caretaker and point of contact, was great! He arranged for food to be brought over every night for dinner and was just a short walk up the beach if I needed anything. I loved being able to swim and snorkel right out in front of the house and got to see a bunch of starry night octopuses out hunting in the seagrass when night snorkeling! I did have a motorbike that I had rented in Ende and it made getting there very convenient.

We had a very comfortable stay at the bungalows — clean, cozy, and with breakfast included each morning. While there are small corals just in front of the resort for a quick snorkel, the real highlight is the stunning reefs reachable by boat. Claudia organizes daily trips, making it super easy to explore the area — perfect for both snorkelling and diving. Another unforgettable experience was the walking trip to Egon Volcano, which is nearby. The views were incredible and absolutely worth the hike.

We had such a lovely stay at Cassabonelly, it is a beautiful space outside of Maumere city and the perfect place to relax by the ocean. We did yoga in the morning with Sevin which was great! Sevin went above and beyond as a host, helping us with transport to Ende in the middle of the night as our flight was cancelled due to the volcano eruption, even accompanying us on the long drive. She was so friendly and proactive, would highly recommend this place.
