We rented the house for a week of familiy vacation (4 adults with 3 children) and enjoyed our stay very much! The 3 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were excellent for this many people. Our host was very friendly and helpful and stayed connected during our stay - ready with recommendations for beaches and restaurants, some of which we tried and liked very much! Heliotropio is much recommended - just make sure to rent a car, because navigating the island would be difficult without one.

Green Herbs Villa is set in Kalamaki, 4.5 km from Port of Zakynthos, 5.1 km from Byzantine Museum, as well as 5.3 km from Dionisios Solomos Square. The villa is ideally situated just a 10 minute drive from the airport and is very easy to reach and locate with the directions provided by the host. On arrival we were greeted by Elini who explained everything to us about the villa and gave us a tour, she also arranged a date for the cleaning to be done within our stay. The villa itself is a beautifully presented new build that stands behind a remote opening gate within excellently maintained gardens. At the front and rear of the villa are shaded areas to sit in comfort. At the rear of the villa is a seating area equipped with a spacious table and chairs and also a couple of sun loungers located at the bottom of the garden. The interior of the property is spotlessly clean, spacious and extremely well equipped with all the comforts of home. The location for us is ideal as it is rural (very much how Zante used to be) However it is only a 10 minute walk to the Kalamaki strip with all the bars restaurants supermarkets etc add another 5 minutes and you are on Kalamaki beach which is a lovely soft golden sand strip that leads to Laganas that is under an hours walk.

Located in Kalamaki and only 1.6 km from Kalamaki Beach, Elegant Maisonettes Kalamaki provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very nice Apartment. Great Pool. And special Thanks to the host - he was amazingly friendly and very helpful. We really felt welcomed. We liked that it is not in the troubled area of Kalamaki. It is a bit outside and therefor quiet.

Situated in Kalamaki, 1.6 km from Kalamaki Beach and 3.8 km from Agios Dionysios Church, Nona's House offers a terrace and air conditioning. My friends and I stayed in this house for a week, and we can do nothing but highly recommend it. The house is much nicer and fresher in real life than it appears in the pictures! And the host, Alex, might be one of the most understanding, helpful, and caring people we’ve ever met. He was always available to assist and was there for us from start to finish. We would highly recommend Nona’s House to anyone visiting Zakynthos, as it’s close to both Laganas and Zakynthos Town. Highly recommended!

Vartan's Summer House features a balcony and is situated in Kalamaki, within just 1.5 km of Kalamaki Beach and 500 metres of Caretta's Fun Park Centre. Alexander was incredibly knowledgeable about the island and was very welcoming. We booked this villa for 7 people and found the location ideal as it was not too far from the main street of kalamaki and the beach. You could definitely tell it was homemade by the little touches to the property. We would 100 percent stay here again!

Location was perfect, very spacious and the managers and owner were very kind and helpful. The owner brought us fresh eggs everyday and cleaned the pool for us regularly. We would definitely stay here again.

Located in Kalamaki, 3.6 km from Agios Dionysios Church, Anagenessis Resort provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The check-in was very nice, they welcomed us with a shot of their homemade liquor and a little sweet treat. Then we went up to our room. Unfortunately there was a problem with this room, but the staff managed it very well and changed our room within the next minutes. We stayed in the "resort" part of this hotel, which comes with a Jacuzzi in every room/on the balcony, very nice! The breakfast was tasty and a variety of choices as well. We also enjoyed their Greek night, a buffet of delicious Greek food and Greek music/live dancing. We will definitely come back to this wonderful place!
