This place is the best value accommodation in Shetland. I have no idea why the previous reviews are so poor. We are locals who had to have a stay over for a medical appointment, and the cabin is exactly what it looks like in the photos. There is no bedding- a fact that is made clear on the booking.com website and in the email we received from the park directly. A previous poster criticised there being no kettle. There is a kettle, located in the kitchenette area. There is no accommodation for 5 people available on Shetland at this price, so what you see is what you get. If you are after something 4 *, go and stay in the Lerwick Hotel for £300+ a night.

Location was great, fantastic views and easy to find. Chalet was self catering and had everything we needed from kitchen utensils, to bed linen and towels. Outside was plenty of parking spaces, a landscaped garden up the side of the hill and the host had their studio and craft shop on site, where you can purchase a variety of items: paintings, resin jewellery, buttons, postcards, gifts, hanging mobiles etc The garden and workshop were certainly an added bonus to our stay at the chalet, will definately return

Very clean, spacious, and comfortable with all the amenities you would need. The heating was also very good at keeping the place warm. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and cozy, beds were confortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the welcome gifts were nice. Neighbourhood is quiet and the hoise is close to bus stops. We felt like home.
