Every dish was a delight, but the pepper steak was a standout – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Unlike the typical overcooked steak, this one was a true culinary highlight, paired with fresh, vibrant salads. The forest walk organized by the camp was another highlight. We were lucky enough to spot three different chameleons, including the fascinating three-horned chameleon, as well as the black-and-white colobus monkey. It was a unique and enriching experience to connect with the local wildlife. What made our stay even more meaningful was knowing that part of the proceeds goes directly to supporting the local community. Ruboni Community Camp is a shining example of sustainable tourism done right. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable experience in Uganda!
