We had a small issue because of the photos displayed in our Booking.com reservation showing a desk space in the room and apparently not all rooms have this desk. As we were expecting it (my wife had work to do), we asked them if we could change rooms and they sorted out for us by upgrading our room! They did everything to make our stay be an absolute blast. Reserved restaurants, helped us with all our questions and recommended/reserved a truffle hunt + wine tasting in Tuscany that was the PEAK of our trip. I would not think to stay elsewhere whenever I'm back in Florence. Shoutout to Desiré, Lavinia, and the manager Angela! Thank you for everything! (I'm sorry if I forgot anyone's name)

Located in Livorno and with Livorno Port reachable within 600 metres, Agave in Città provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge.... This place was spectacular! Our travel group was three generations of extended family, 15 of us in total, with a variety of travel desires/needs. Everyone loved Agave in Citta! The kids were obsessed with the pool, our fancier members were very impressed with the stunning atmosphere and overall design of the hotel. The optional breakfast came in handy several times, the location was excellent, free umbrellas saved the day for our walking tour in the rain, and the staff was incredibly hospitable and helpful at every turn. The private rooftop hot tub (for one of the rooms) was magical; the Superior Deluxe room was ENORMOUS and fit all 15 of us comfortably for chatting and games. Back to the pool - having an indoor heated pool was a huge perk, and it was much larger than we expected (not huge, but we've experienced dinky pools made to look larger in photos - this was not the case at Agave in Citta).

Boasting a shared lounge, The Moon Boutique Hotel & Spa is set in Florence, a 10-minute walk from Fortezza da Basso and 800 metres from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Really friendly welcome from the amazing staff, who couldn't do enough for us. Very comfortable and modern room, exactly as in pictures. Lovely experience in the spa and a very good selection for breakfast. Staff kindly minded our luggage before and after check in so we could explore Florence. Tram and hop on/hop off tour bus directly adjacent to hotel.
