We had an amazing time at this hotel. The room was very clean, newly refurbished and spacious. The bedding was super comfortable. The room had a great selection of teas, coffee, including caffetier and ground coffee, as well as a range of loveliest biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge - wow, we loved the extra touch. And the hotel staff was very helpful! Highly recommended!

My brothers and I stayed in Purbeck lodge for a couple of evenings for a trip to monkey world and we were blown away by how good the accommodation was. It was clean and functional, while also feeling homely. The facilities were excellent, everyone could have their own bed and bathroom. The sauna was wonderful for relaxing. The balcony meant we could have breakfast in the fresh air - nice and quiet with lovely birdsong. The location is wonderful for just nipping into the picturesque town of Wareham and more than close enough to monkey world for a day out with the primates, with plenty of parking. We have already discussed making it an annual trip and bringing our partners next time because we had such a great stay. Excellent value-for-money, thank you!

Chris and Mella are wonderful hosts. We spent a week in this accommodation and felt completely at home. Our dog was also welcome and made friends with Crumble, the house puppy. The breakfast was exceptional, suggestions from the guests were implemented spontaneously and we enjoyed having breakfast together with the other guests at a large table. Thank you Chris, thank you Mella, we really enjoyed our time with you and will be happy to come back.

Aliya is a delightful host and very welcoming. My bedroom was spacious and comfortable and it was great to have places to sit other than the bed. I particularly enjoyed the patio area which, as the property's name suggests, has views of the adjacent woodland; there is a short and picturesque walk through here to Milton Abbas village. The breakfast is prepared to order and I particularly enjoyed the variety of fresh fruit. It's in a very quiet location but ideally situated for getting around this part of Dorset. I definitely hope to return.

This beautiful 16th-century manor house offers incredible views across the Dorset countryside from its terrace. All staff were delightful - very welcoming, helpful and efficient. Beautiful, grand building and great location at the foot of Corfe Castle. We enjoyed inventive fine dining in the restaurant (at fine dining prices, of course) both evenings...flavours and presentation were superb. Our room and en suite bathroom were impeccably clean with none of the shabbiness that is often a feature of older hotels.

We loved the beautiful greenery , the spa massages and the spa itself and the staff were very friendly everywhere we went :)
